Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actress and producer. She is the highest-paid actress in Bollywood and she has been awarded for her efforts. Nush is her brand of clothing for women. In addition, she serves as an ambassador for the brand and is also owner of various other brands. Forbes Magazine is also where she's made an appearance. Anushka Sharma's parents include Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is a Colonel (retd.) Anushka's mother is a housewife. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother, who was in the Merchant Navy is now a film director. Anushka is a graduate at the Army School Bangalore. She is also a bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka holds a master's degree in Arts (Economics). Anushka Sharma was not looking to become an actress. Instead, she wanted to either turn into a fashion model or writer. Anushka joined Elite Model Management after graduating and underwent training by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka started modeling in 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. She was also selected to represent the collection Spring Summer 2007 by Rodricks. Anushka Sharma has been involved in several brand campaigns since her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads in the name of Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started giving auditions for film alongside her modelling. Anushka began her career as an actor in the year 2008 on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in the film, starring Shah Rukh Khan. To prepare herself for the screening, Anushka Sharma spent an entire day. In the following days she was a part of three films by Yash Raj Films. She was a young wedding bride to a middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the film. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was a part of the cast along with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the film Badmash Company. The movie received mixed reviews. Anushka was also seen with Ranveer in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' in which she portrayed the role of a Punjabi middle class woman who launched her own venture. The film was praised by critics and was deemed a sleeper success. Anushka's contract for three films at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baraat.
