Shawnee Smith (born July 3 1970, 5 feet tall"3" is an American film and television actress as well as a musician. Smith is known as Amanda Young from the Saw films as well as Linda from Becker, a CBS comedy Becker. Smith has also performed with the group metal Fydolla Ho. The group performed in across the United States and the United Kingdom and is half of Smith & Pyle the desert country-rock group with actor Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina the second daughter of Patricia who is an oncology doctor and Jim Smith a financial planner and an ex- US Air Force pilot. At the age of one old, the family moved from South Carolina and California to Van Nuys. The couple separated at the age of two years age. At the age of eight, she had moved to Van Nuys. Her schooling was at Ranchito Avenue School, Panorama City Los Angeles. Madison Jr. High is located in North Hollywood. She graduated from North Hollywood High School, North Hollywood California in 1987.
